i'm still having problems installing klango.

it installs via the setup programme, though there is no start menu item to launch it, so i have to go in to my computer and the programme files to try and get it to launch, but it still won't launch and says it needs to be shut down.

i've tried installing scripts, uninstalling the programme, then reinstalling it, but really not sure what i'm missing to make it work.

any help would be great.

thanks

Hi!
It happns if you are using wierd antyvirus software like eg. Kaspersky. Kaspersky likes to classify Klango as a virus and silently blocks the installation which results in putting only program's folder in program files no shortcuts, no everything. Try to run an executable results in a crash. Make sure that your AV isn't conflicting. TUrn it off for the time of installlation - don't worry - Klango is not a virus.

Using Win7 Home Premium 32-bit and MSE, it took a few attempts to get Klango installed; the setup file would not run correctly. Two things come to mind, though I doubt these'll help:
1. You say there is no start menu option: Make sure you've not chosen the advanced/portable installation during the setup process.

2. It may be worth uninstalling Klango using a program such as Revo Uninstaller (which will clean out any left over files/registry entries) and then downloading and installing Klango again.

Sorry I cannot be of much help,

Robert
